I can remember last March when we went into lockdown. I can remember my naΓ―ve or perhaps protective brain telling myself that this probably wouldn’t last that long – that I was not going to make any rash decisions about the planned trip to the Azores in May or our vacation to Maine in August. And I really remember telling myself that “Surely by Christmas, this will all be over.”
And here we are facing lockdown again. We are all tired of Covid-19. And yet if there is one thing that we know for sure, it is that time does not stand still. May and August still came and went, as will Christmas of 2020.
Despite how today may look for you,
I wish you moments of joy, wonder and peace.
I wish for you tradition, foods of comfort, the still and magical twinkling of lights.
I wish for you connection, love and faith.
I wish for you laughter and a light heart.
I wish for you strength, courage and time to be still.
I wish for you all that you pray for, I wish you thoughtful intention.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
Love and hugs,
Kristine

Love the who-vile trees. And thank you for your lovely daily messages of inspiration and hope. It will be so interesting to see our reflections on this year once it is in the rear view mirror.
Thank you Gurlie! And I agree about our reflections; as terrible as this pandemic has been, there are some positives to come out of it.
